This learning activity explores the intersection of creative expression and digital innovation. It begins with a keynote from local creative entrepreneur Shaquil Maria, who shares his personal journey and insights into using digital tools like VR and NFTs to create and monetize art.
The second part features a panel discussion with local experts Eunice Cijntje and Ramses Petronia, moderated by Luis and Chandler. The conversation will cover the use of digital tools in creative industries, challenges around intellectual property, and strategies for monetization in the digital era.
Participants will gain real-world insights into how digital technologies can enhance creativity, protect original work, and help creators reach wider audiences—especially in island contexts. Interaction is encouraged through audience questions submitted via Padlet.
