Are you passionate about enhancing the recognition of learning activities and outcomes through Open Badges? Join us for a dynamic conversation as we take a significant step toward establishing a quality standard for badge issuers!
In this project, we are proud to introduce the "Quality Label for Badge Recognition." Six Cities of Learning partners are leading the charge in developing and piloting this groundbreaking initiative.

Our mission is clear: To create badge recognition strategies that are tailored to individual countries while building a shared European strategy for broader recognition within and beyond non-formal learning and youth work.
By 2025, we aim to expand our network capacity, consolidating efforts to impact local, regional, national, and European recognition policies and practices in non-formal learning and youth work.
Our specific goals include:
  • Researching and mapping national and European validation and recognition systems Developing country-specific badge recognition strategies
  • Creating a shared European badge recognition strategy
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement on badge recognition strategies at both local and European levels

Let's shape the future of recognition together.
