Awarded to young people for successfully engaging in activities that develop an understanding of digital rights, this badge recognises your ability to identify, explain, and apply key digital rights in online environments. Through participation in the “Young People’s Digital Rights in Youth Work” activities, you have demonstrated key competencies in online safety, privacy, and responsible digital engagement.

Skills and experiences gained
This badge aligns with DigComp 2.2 (Digital Competence Framework for Citizens) and supports the development of:
  • Information and data literacy - Understanding digital rights, privacy, and data protection.
  • Safety - Awareness of online risks, cybersecurity, and responsible digital behaviour.
  • Communication and collaboration - Engaging in respectful and meaningful digital participation.
